I spent 8 weeks with Jodi in 2006, lost weight and got in great shape. I went back to work and was not able to arrange my time around her workouts. I decided to work with another instructor at another Y. It was not the same, so I decided to make it work and now I am back and loving her workouts. Jodi is a great instructor. If you want to vary an exercise while you are working with the group that is fine. If you need to miss a session, she works with you. She makes the hour go by very fast and at the end of the session you feel great! She is the reason I enjoy the YMCA.

My husband, Jeremy, and I have been working with Hank for five weeks. The experience, process, and beginning transformations have been amazing! I have been out of the traditional fitness routine for several years due to injuries and personal reasons, focusing only on my yoga practice. 

My husband, due to long work hours, has not exercised actively in years. We made a commitment together to get back into strong shape, and Hank has been so instrumental during this time. He is inspirational, motivational, fun and an all around interesting person to interact with. His ability to train two individuals with different body types and levels of agility has impressed us both. We look forward to our twice weekly sessions and the months to come. 

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to work together!! Training with my husband and watching him grown and develop, combined with my positive experience with Hank, has actually inspired me to sign up for a Personal Trainer Certification course this December.

I must first begin by thanking you for offering such a great fitness program. I have worked with many trainers over the years and know a quality trainer when I get one.

Over the past five weeks I have had the experience of training with Hank Stratton Brook. After my initial meeting with Hank, I called my husband at work and told him I knew that my world was about to change. And I was right! Hank is exactly the type of trainer that I have needed for years. Hank is honest, straight forward and has high expectations! He has pushed me to my maximum athletic abilities, that I was even unaware existed. He has consistently challenged me to be the best that I can be. Additionally, he has monitored my nutrition intake and weekly exercise routine and has made himself readily available for pep talks when needed.

Within the last five weeks I have lost 10.5 lbs. This is more than I lost in one full year with Weight Watchers. Not only do I feel fantastic, my energy level is up and I am running up to 3 miles….which I haven’t done in 30 years! I get daily comments from my friends on the positive changes they are noticing!

Due to Prescriptive Fitness and Hank, I have a new and improved life style….for life! I cannot thank you enough for the 12 sessions and the change that I have experienced.
